Sight Seeing (via Heli or Airplane)

We're located just a short heli ride from the Kichatna Spires. The Kichatna Spire is a 7,684-foot (2,342 m) spire-shaped peak in the Kichatna Mountains of the Alaska Range, in Denali National Park and Preserve, southwest of Denali.

The area is absolutely breathtaking and some might say a secret spot within the Alaska Range. While most tourism is routed through Talkeetna and the National Park, we have a quiet area in the mountains just a heli trip away.

We offer tours from our helicopter, allowing for the full view of the mountains at a slower pace than our fixed wing airplanes. These mountains are guaranteed to leave you in awe.

Sightseeing is a great option to split up the group. We can only fit 3 passengers in the helicopter so we're happy to take half of the group while the other half is fishing or enjoying another activity.

4 Wheeling from the Lodge

Take our side by side and 4 wheeler right from the lodge and explore our expansive trails. You can venture to the West and get higher up for a view of the Denali Range, or venture to East along the river and check out a historic plane crash site and mining site from the early 1900s.

Packrafting

We offer guided packrafting trips down the Class 2+ Kichatna River and drop offs for self-guided hiking/packrafting adventures!

Our helicopter will conveniently drop you off at the beginning of the hike where you'll hike up and over the pass, and the packraft down the Kichatna River back to the lodge where we'll be waiting with a warm meal, dry bed, and camp fire.
